One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners making on Instagram is not being clear about what their offer is. I see this happen often, people start to focus TOO MUCH on the number of followers, creating a beautiful Instagram page, and forget all about their offer.
The reason you are spending your time on Instagram is that you want to share your offer outside of your current network. Now you don't want to come across as sales-y, which is why I always say to serve first then sell but keep in mind the way you serve must speak to your service/product too! Take time to think about your caption because this is where you can explain your offer. BUT it doesn't just stop there, think to yourself, are you clearly stating your offer on your Blog, Website and other online platforms?
Think beyond Instagram - yes creating a visually pleasing page is important, but heck I could care less if you had 10 or 10, 000 followers, because guess what? Followers don't equal profit.
So take the time to explain your service or product across platforms and tell people about your brand experience.

2. Simple Service Breakdowns - the fastest way to tell viewers your offer is literally stating it.
3. Talk About What They Can Expect - give them details about your service and how you set yourself apart from the competition.
4. Take Them #BTS - take your readers behind the scenes with blog posts that go into detail about your service. You can introduce this post on Instagram and even link to it on your Newsletter!
Adding these ideas to your Instagram Strategy along with Blog, Newsletter and Website, will help your readers understand your offer in a clear manner.
