Refined. Intentional. Finally Them: The Posh & Peony Site Reveal

Let’s rewind for a sec - because not every project is a smooth ride from start to finish. And honestly? That’s where the best magic happens.
When the Posh & Peony team came to me, we started from scratch. Brand identity, voice, tone, visuals - all of it. We curated a brand that felt exactly like them: regal, bold, whimsical, and luxurious without being stuffy. That part? We absolutely nailed on the first try.
Then came the website. And… our first full design draft just didn’t hit.
It wasn’t bad - it just wasn’t them. The vibe was off, the flow didn’t feel natural, and it lacked the magic we’d poured into the brand identity. So we did what good collaborators do: we took the feedback, regrouped, and dove back in.
We didn’t tweak. We reinvented.
We workshopped harder, went deeper into their client journey, and rebuilt the entire experience - from structure to story to strategy. And this time? We got it right.
Some of the standout upgrades from their old site:
A strategic visual flow that takes users from their story to services to testimonials without overwhelm
Intake forms that are intuitive, clear, and designed to convert dream clients with ease
Testimonials thoughtfully woven into key sections, creating trust from the first scroll
A portfolio system that they can now update themselves - no designer needed when a new wedding gets featured
A seamless mobile experience because we know couples are planning on the go
Detailed service breakdowns that demystify their offerings and eliminate the back-and-forth
Stronger calls to action throughout, guiding potential clients to book (or at least inquire) without hesitation
Oh, and in between launching the brand and building the site, we hit pause while waiting on some key wedding photos. Rather than go quiet, we created a high-impact landing page that did more than just fill space. With a heartfelt intro, a full intake form, and a polished vibe, it carried their brand forward while the full site was under wraps.
Now that it’s live, the site feels like a true extension of their brand: refined, elevated, and still incredibly human. It's a space that invites, informs, and converts, exactly how a wedding planner’s digital home should function.
The lesson?
Even when the first draft doesn’t land, it’s not a failure; it’s feedback. And when you build with strategy, listen with curiosity, and design with intention, the second draft can be everything the first one wasn’t.
We didn’t just launch a new site, we created a flexible, intentional space that Posh & Peony can continue to grow into. A true digital home that works just as hard as they do.
