"If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
It's not true.
If you do something you love, you work your ass off to make it a success. That's what passion is. Don't diminish the hard work, sweat and tears that someone puts into building a successful business because they love what they do.
I love what I do, but I still have hard days. It wasn't overnight success or rainbows and butterflies getting here. The challenges don't stop. Every year it's something new. Bigger goals mean different bridges I need to cross. Not to mention how motherhood (which I know was my choice) changes your journey. I still love designing websites and creating brands. I feel at an all-time high when I discuss branding strategies with a new client. But this comes with sacrifices, busy days, and a lot of hard work.
Would I change it? Never. I love it - but I work hard for it.
