The Butterfly Soiree

Ruby Sohi and I crossed paths (what seems like) ages ago. Since then I've had the honour to work for her on a number of corporate events. Big or small, anything she takes part in is always a success!

The most recent event we designed for was The Butterfly Soiree, a valentines day gala put together by the Indo-Canadian Friends of Osler in support of the William Osler Foundation. The event blossomed into a massive success raising $1 million dollars!

The Process:

Coffee gets us all thinking and being creative - plus it's always nice to catch up with a fellow #Girlboss!

+

Getting down to business and understanding the event, it's goals, and the people behind the scenes.

+

The Creation Stage (my favourite)! Creating two potential logo concepts for an event that will hopefully become annual. Along with designing two very different save the date options based on the client's inspiration.

+

Feedback, edits and final drafts on logos and posters - off to the market we go!

+

Branding the whole event! Create matching tickets, menus, seating charts and working with a team to ensure a beautiful animation is possible for the day of backdrop (did we mention the bufferflies moved and flew around!)

= Happy clients with a super successful event.

The perfect formula for a wonderful event!

Ruby's experience working with us:

We have worked with ROOP on numerous corporate event projects. Puja is a talented professional, she produces everything with passion and dedication. Her work has always answered the client's brief and her ability to echo their vision is admirable. It's always a pleasure working together.
